Marlins’ Hanley Ramirez Returning Saturday?

Marlins Hanley Ramirez returning Saturday?Florida Marlins shortstop Hanley Ramirez left Tuesday’s game against the New York Mets in the sixth with a left shoulder sprain “after trying to make a diving, over-the-shoulder catch in shallow left field,” reports MLB.com.

Now the site has it that Ramirez could be back in the Marlins lineup Saturday when the team takes on the St. Louis Cardinals, who are five games back in the National League Central.

“I just talked to him,” Manager Jack McKeon said before the team’s game on Thursday, according to the Palm Beach Post. “He said he’s a little stiff right now. We’ll see if he can get back Saturday. He said, ‘Maybe tomorrow.’ I said that’d be great if you could do it, but I doubt it. In my mind, (Saturday) might be (realistic). It’s up to him.”
